Autumn Brands, the provider of artisanal, clean, premium cannabis, has enjoyed a partnership with Laganja Estranja, a trans and cannabis activist that was a fan favorite on season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race. This Pride Month, to show its support of Laganja and the transgender community, Autumn Brands is donating $5,000 to the Trans Wellness Center, a Los Angeles place of resources and services for transgender and non-binary people.
“We are proud to support our friend Laganja and the LGBTQIA+ community, and wholeheartedly believe in the good that the Trans Wellness Center is doing to provide awareness and services for transgender people,” says Autumn Brands co-founder Autumn Shelton. “Laganja has been a long-time fan and influencer for Autumn Brands. We are united in our dedication to helping the trans community and share our belief in the safe medical access and responsible recreational use of cannabis as well.”
Laganja Estranja is a choreographer, TV personality, musician, and more. A drag queen based in Los Angeles, she is passionate about cannabis rights and has been featured in High Times and Dope Magazine. Laganja has been a long-time fan and influencer for Autumn Brands.
Laganja came out as transgender in 2021 and knows the importance of organizations like The Trans Wellness Center (TWC). TWC provides comprehensive resources and services for transgender and non-binary people under one roof. The 3,000-square-foot center is the first of its kind in the United States, with six local organizations joining forces to create this new home for wellness.
