If you pay even the slightest bit of attention to the cannabis world, then you have heard of CBD. In fact, many who do not follow the cannabis community at all have heard of CBD; AARP just sent their almost 40 million members information on CBD and other aspects of the cannabis plant.

In many ways this is a great thing. People who may never have heard of the medicinal properties of CBD now have the option of finding relief beyond a world of prescriptions and pills. But the proliferation of information about CBD has created a lot of noise, and many are finding it difficult to cut through this noise to get to the information they need.

While it’s easy for many of us to say “just go on the Internet and figure it out”, for a lot of people that’s much easier said than done. Who has the best info? Who can be trusted? If someone is peddling bad info, how can you confirm that?

For some, it’s just better to go into a store and get to know the products and the people behind them. If you’re in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, one of the best places to do that is Your CBD Store in Crescent Springs, KY

The store opened at the Crescent Springs location on June 1st and owner Elizabeth Kirby said the response so far has been great. “Great feedback, I would say that almost half of our customers are returning customers,” Elizabeth told The Marijuana Times. “So they’ve tried the product, it’s working for them and they’re back to replenish their supply.”

When it comes to new customers, Elizabeth told us, many are looking for information. “They come in the door and [they say], ‘I’ve heard about CBD, I’ve heard it would help me, but what is it?’” She said it’s not unusual for them to spend 30-45 minutes with a customer, educating them about CBD, the hemp plant, the endocannabinoid system and more.

Customers get an explanation on the different kinds of CBD and different ingestion methods, which include oil tinctures, water solubles, topical creams, plus vape pens and cartridges. Elizabeth said a lot of older folks come in specifically to get a more hands-on education than is available to them on the Internet.

Your CBD Store also gives a 20% discount on products to active duty military members and veterans, a segment of the population especially hard hit with the side effects and quality-of-life-reducing aspects of prescription medications.
