After the success of its virtual event debut last summer, Regennabis announces that Regenerative Cannabis Live will begin its series of in-person events this winter. The first will be held at the United Nations Delegates Dining Room on February 17th, 2022 in New York City. Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this multi-stakeholder event brings together global leaders to explore the Economic, Social & Environmental impacts facing the industry now and in the future.
“We need to democratize opportunities within the sector and accelerate innovation, products and services that serve a greater need — and we believe we can do that through cannabis and hemp,“ says Patrick McCartan, CEO, Regennabis. “The feedback from our virtual Regenerative Cannabis Live event proved that and support for our upcoming event solidifies it.”
From Senator Juan Manuel Galán of Colombia and Senator Alejandro Armenta of Mexico, to organizations including Curaleaf, Hoban Law Group and Last Prisoner Project, the virtual event brought in leaders from across the globe. Marc Ferguson, the CEO of Verdentify, who attended the virtual event himself said of it: “I think this is one of the most informative cannabis conferences when considering the quality of the panel members, the importance of the topic, and the passion and engagement of the audience.”
More recently, Hawthorne Gardening Company became the platinum sponsor of the February 2022 event. “We have a responsibility to help shape a more equitable and sustainable future,” says Hawthorne Division President Chris Hagedorn. “As a leader in growing solutions, we’re conducting R&D and bringing innovation to market in ways that can benefit cultivators, consumers and communities. Regennabis is at the forefront of issues that are important to the industry’s future. We’re proud to support Regenerative Cannabis Live and foster dialogue to drive meaningful change.”
Tailored around authentic, action-oriented discussion, the bi-annual events will explore how the global Cannabis (‘Medical, Health & Wellness’ and ‘Adult-Use & Recreational’) and Hemp Industry is poised to significantly impact a country’s economic, social and environmental growth and in turn, drive solutions to the 17 UN SDGs. The day-long event will host a blend of keynote addresses and insightful panels on topics ranging from ESG business frameworks and restorative justice to energy use/efficiencies and the future of medicine in cannabis and hemp.
Regenerative Cannabis Live seeks to convene the ecosystem of action-oriented leadership from Corporations, Government, Investors, Media, Civil Society & NGOs, along with Influencers from the Arts & Entertainment world “into the room” to channel their resources and help drive this “Decade in Action.” Those interested in sponsorship, speaking and/or attending, can visit us at www.regenerativecannabislive.com and at www.regennabis.com or contact us directly at info@regennabis.com
Due to strict regulations and limited seating, in-person attendance is by invite-only; however, a select number of passes will be made available to the public and anyone interested can also tune in virtually.
