This weekend, an event highlighting the fastest growing aspect of the cannabis industry — edibles and topicals — is coming to the City of The Angels. Infused Expo will offer an array of speakers, panels and cooking demos along with an expo setting of vendors — all focused on cannabis infused products. 
The event will be taking place on Sunday, October 23rd from 10 am to 6 pm at Casa Vertigo. Following is an after-party sponsored by Pharm Aid Pharms and featuring the band Backbone. Speakers will include Ed Rosenthal, known to many as the Ganja Guru of Growing, whose top selling book “How To Grow Marijuana” has sold over a million copies and was reviewed by The New York Times.
This event will be especially beneficial to those who are seeking information to start or expand a cannabis business. Infused Expo will highlight many of the issues surrounding the need to bring responsible standards that will create a dynamic green rush. Many vendors will be sharing products and services that will support creating items for cannabis consumers to enjoy. Some of the information highlighted will be: proper dosing, packaging, testing of products and the upcoming legal issues for edibles and topicals.
The creators of the event, B Le Grande of Edibles List Magazine and Keiko Beatie of OC NORML, Hemp Radio and OC Women Grow, wanted to support the future of edibles, as at this time there is no regulation established in California or many other US states. Edibles Magazine is the only publication that currently focuses of the subject and is distributed in many of the western states.
