Canadian-based Eteros Technologies, owner of Mobius Trimmer, the No. 1 brand of high-end cannabis and hemp processing equipment, has opened its first U.S. facility in Las Vegas. The new facility has several primary functions, including final assembly of Mobius and Triminator equipment for the U.S. cannabis market, as well as warehousing and logistics.

“With our continued strong growth as well as our recent acquisition of California-based Triminator, we recognized the need to bring all functions in-house to better support our U.S. customer base,” said Aaron McKellar, CEO of Mobius Trimmer. “With this expansion, we look forward to contributing to local and regional communities with well-paying jobs that have upward mobility, demonstrating that our industry is an important partner in economic growth.”

The Las Vegas-based facility will allow Eteros to carry an expanded inventory of machines and parts and provide control over a greater part of the order fulfillment process, both of which will deliver equipment to end-users more quickly. The facility will feature a showroom with the full lineup of Mobius and Triminator equipment. Mobius equipment is designed for large-scale cultivators, featuring some of the most technologically advanced harvesting options available on the market today, while Triminator products are designed for the agricultural sector and small-to-midsize cultivators. These two lines reflect Eteros’ dedication to building best-in-class cultivation equipment.

The new Mobius facility opening is also creating well-paying, permanent jobs for Nevadans that offer industry-specific training and opportunities for advancement in the fast-growing company. Parent company Eteros plans to initially hire 12 full-time employees for the Las Vegas facility, with additional job opportunities as the company continues to grow.
