Cannabis Facility Construction (CFC), a national cannabis design-build leader, is pleased to welcome Robert Spence to its growing team. Spence joins CFC from 4Front, a cannabis multi-state operator, where he was Director of Facilities for Mission Dispensaries. As CFC Production Manager, Spence will leverage his 20 years of construction experience and technical cannabis industry knowledge to build best in class cannabis facilities for CFC clients including multi-state operators, independents and start-ups.
“We are thrilled to welcome Robert Spence as Production Manager to the CFC team,” says Andy Poticha, Founder & CEO of Cannabis Facility Construction. “As the cannabis industry becomes increasingly sophisticated, it’s become even more important to have strong project leaders with the industry experience to problem-solve and keep projects on track. Robert has real-world experience delivering all types of cannabis facilities under tight timelines while navigating complex approval processes, exactly what our clients need.”
As Production Manager, Robert will be responsible for leading the construction of cannabis projects from bidding, pre-construction, project launch and close-out of cultivation facilities, processing centers, and retail dispensaries. He will successfully direct project management teams, trade partners and supplier relationships.
Prior to his three years as Director of Facilities for Mission Dispensaries, Spence held several senior level construction positions, including Facility Engineer at the National Gallery of Art. He is a CSI certified Construction Documents Technologist and USGBC LEED AP. His addition follows a number of new hires the company has made recently to round out their growing team, and includes Ian Carr, Joe Donnelly, Todd Gramly, Cara Resnick, and JoAnn Sandoval.
