Ahead of National Pet Day on April 11, Colorado-based Kyoto Botanicals has released CBD-infused bacon beef dog treats, marking the company’s first product for dogs.

“Like humans, dogs – and other mammals with an endocannabinoid system, which helps maintain the homeostasis of the body  – can benefit from naturally occurring cannabinoids, including CBD,” said Kyoto Botanicals Co-Founder Mark Gillilan. “These high-quality, broad-spectrum, hemp-infused delicious beef flavored dog treats give your furry best friend the same physical and mental support that CBD provides for you.”

Kyoto Botanicals provides handcrafted CBD products with premium hemp extract and organic botanical ingredients. Currently, Kyoto’s product line offers tinctures, gummies, body oil, body balm, face serum and dog treats.

More than 80% of dog owners agree that “my pet sometimes has anxiety/stress issues.” These low-dose CBD dog treats help dogs find calm, and provide the same exercise-induced inflammation support that is found in CBD tinctures, gummies and topicals for humans.

Kyoto Botanical’s CBD dog treats are priced at $39 per jar (30 pieces of 2-mg CBD chews.) Kyoto Botanicals is offering 20% off their dog chews from April 11-17.

Prior to starting Kyoto Botanicals, Mark Gillilan previously worked as the director of marketing at the largest CBD company in the country, Charlotte’s Web. While at Charlotte’s Web, Mark Gillilan experienced firsthand the powerful ability of the hemp plant’s phytocannabinoids to improve health and lives, restoring hope to people and families that had little hope left.
