I was medically discharged from the US Army as an 80% Service Connected Disabled Veteran on April 1, 2006 – yes, April Fool’s Day. I recall coming home to a huge new world. One where I could also enjoy the benefits of cannabis along with the rest of the Californians around me. I recall learning about how cannabis was helping people with real medical ailments. Sure, the thought of being able to walk into a store and buy cannabis was new to me, so I researched online. I found a clinic where I could get an actual prescription for marijuana. I provided the doctor with my two inch thick medical jacket from the military and, needless to say, I was approved for my medical marijuana card. As she handed me my paperwork, she told me that I should be looking into what CBD can do for me alongside THC. This was the first time I had ever heard of CBD – and little did know it would have so much more to do with my adult life.
Since then, I have made it my mission to share my story with any Veterans who would listen. I was driving through life with a clear head and complete control of all of my faculties. Much like other veterans, I spend a lot of time at the local VA Hospital where I also share my stories with anyone willing to let me bend my ear. The way I see it, if I can somehow help anyone who will listen, my time was worth it. We donate to veteran causes whenever possible, give special veteran pricing on our site, and try to help anyone in need. We get requests every day to send products to people in need and, without fail or question, we send them free products to help increase their quality of life. We really care.
Working with organizations like Weed for Warriors gives Infinite CBD an outlet to send cost free cannabis products to veterans who have done their own research like me, and feel they can benefit from it.
